My name is Heather, and I’m the nocturnal nut keeping things spooky around here 365 days a year. I love Halloween, have a bit of a boot obsession, and live with a black cat who always lets me know that my taste in music is awful.
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve loved everything spooky. I was raised on Nickelodeon’s “Are You Afraid of the Dark?,” was traumatized by the illustrations in “Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark,” and always made a beeline for whatever R.L. Stine or Christopher Pike had just been returned to the shelves of my local library. “Fear Street” was particularly hard to get your hands on, but once in a while my timing would be just right and I’d walk out with a tote bag full.
